Further review of By-law No. 28-2011, being a by-law to establish, maintain and operate a fire department under the direction of the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Thames Centre.

8. OTHER BUSINESS
(A) Mayor Maudsley, request support to allow a portion of the expenses for attending the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference, held on June 2-6, 2011, in Halifax, to be allocated from the Council Conference and Education Budget.
(B)

The Willow Golf & Country Club, notice of application for a liquor licence (expansion to existing banquet hall with two (2) additional washrooms).
(C) K & H Distributing, May 31, 2011, request permission to utilize the Dorchester Community Park for a fireworks display to be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011.
(D) Judy Andrigo, on behalf of the community service groups, May 27, 2011, request to waive the rental fee for the south arena for a Video Dance Party to take place on July 2, 2011 from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., as part of the Firefit Challenge Event.

(A)

By-law No. 39-2011, being a by-law to amend By-law 9-2011, being a by-law establishing a tariff of fees and prescribing various municipal rates and charges.  See also By-law 9-2011 for comparison purposes.
(B)

By-law No. 40-2011, being a by-law to establish a policy for the extension of the Municipality of Thames Centre’s municipal water and wastewater services and to allocate the costs of such extension to benefitting properties as permitted by section 391 of the Municipal Act, as amended, and Ontario Regulations 586/06 and 584/06.
(C)

By-law No. 41-2011, being a by-law to establish municipal tax rates.
(D)

By-law No. 42-2011, being a by-law to appoint Fire Officers for the Municipality of Thames Centre.
