Hamilton Rd. Scheduling, facility bookings, and other recreation related inquiries
can be handled at this location. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to

We do not curently book the ice pad online however our web schedules are updated constantly and are an excellent way of finding out what's going at all of our centrally booked recreation facilities. You can check to see when your team is on the ice or find out which teams are using on the ball diamonds. They're also a handy way to look for open ice pad, soccer field and ball diamond times, or to find a suitable rental opportunity in the auditorium and meeting area bookings. The arena is a very busy facility and finding an open ice time in the evening or on weekends can be difficult, but you can significantly improve your chances by using our web schedules. 

Public Skating

Senior Skating is held every Monday and Thursday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Admission is $1.25. If you have a favorite tape you'd like to have played while you skate, feel free to bring it along. Personal music choices are played on a 'first come-first served' basis. Come on out and enjoy a fun and relaxing skate!

Parents and Tots Skating is held every Wednesday morning from 10  to 12 noon.  Skating assists are allow but not provided by the facility. Children are allowed to have sticks and pucks after 11 am.

Family Skating is held Sundays from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. This time slot provides an opportunity for parents with younger children to enjoy a fun skate. Although the Family skate is supervised by on ice recreation staff, please be aware that a parent or guardian of legal age must accompany children on the ice surface.

Open Skating is also held Sundays from 2:00 to 3:00 pm and everyone is eligible. Open skating is also supervised by Recreation staff.

Note: Occasionally Family and Open skate are cancelled to accommodate special events such as tournaments. If in doubt, please check our online schedule or call the arena at 268-7878.
