NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL CERTAIN VACANT LANDS
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of Thames Centre proposes to permanently sell to Geoff and Jannette Williams to enlarge their property located at 2637 Dorchester Road, the following lands:
Located on the west side of Dorchester Road (County Road 32) south of Boardwalk Way, having an area of approximately 0.4 acres located in Dorchester, as shown on the map below, and legally described as Part of Lot 18, Concession B SRT (geographic Township of North Dorchester), Municipality of Thames Centre, County of Middlesex, being part of PIN 08183-0451.
AND TAKE NOTICE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Thames Centre, at its meeting held on December 12, 2022, declared these lands surplus to the needs of the Municipality.
PURSUANT TO the Municipality’s Notice By-law No. 65-2022, upon the Municipality of Thames Centre having declared property surplus to the needs of the Corporation, notice to the public of the proposed sale shall be given, at least fourteen (14) days prior to the proposed action being taken.
COUNCIL MEETING information is as follows: Date: Monday, January 16th, 2023 Time: 1:00 p.m.
Place: This will be held in person but also broadcasted live on the Municipality’s YouTube Channel, namely: https://www.youtube.com/c/municipalityofthamescentre
ANYONE MAY SUBMIT comments or concerns for Council’s consideration in writing to the Clerk via email to clerk@thamescentre.on.ca or by mail to the municipal office before 12 Noon on Monday, January 9, 2023.
