Information Kiosks are found at several locations throughout the trail system and provide a map of the trail, a "Code of Conduct" for users and a Sponsor Recognition panel.

The Trail Head Kiosk, located in the community park off Dorchester Road, was constructed on the foundation of the old water standpipe and is used as a focal point for the trail.

Lions Trail

This trail was constructed by the Dorchester Lions Club as part of their revitalization of the Fishing Hole area on Hamilton Rd., west of Dorchester. The trail leads from the Lions Fishing Hole, along the river to the bridge at Mill Rd. connecting to the Mill Pond Trail.

We are very fortunate to have received the financial support of $10,000 from Go For Green and Compaq Computers Canada. Go For Green is a national non-profit organization that encourages outdoor activity and environmental citizenship. The proceeds of this grant will be used to fund 2-3 interpretive kiosks and the trail marker signs.
