PAYMENTS

  • Telephone or Internet Banking or ATM - To arrange for this payment option please contact your bank. NOTE: It is important to use the 19-digit roll number when making a payment. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.

  • In Person at most Financial Institutions during regular business hours.

  • Mail (If you require a receipt, please forward your entire tax bill and a self-addressed stamped envelope and it will be receipted and mailed back to you)

  • Municipal Office - Payments may be made by cash, cheque or debit card during regular business hours (Mon. to Fri. 8:30 am - 4:30 pm). A mail slot is available to the left of the front door of the Municipal Office for payments made outside of business hours.

  • Pre-Authorized Payment Plan- This is available for 10 monthly withdrawals or for the 4 installment dates. You can join at anytime. Forms are available at the Municipal Office or can be printed using the links below.

Please make all cheques payable to the
Municipality of Thames Centre
and include the appropriate tax stub(s) with your cheque. A fee of $35.00 will be applied to your account for any cheque returned by your bank.

Late Payments
Are subject to a penalty of 1.25% on the first day of default and 1.25% on the first day of each month thereafter until paid.

NOTE: If taxes are to be paid by a mortgage company, the bill should be forwarded immediately to the appropriate mortgage company.

If you have a correction to your assessment roll, i.e. address change or spelling corrections, a form can be filled out at the Municipal office or can be printed out at the link below. Note:
Legal name changes need to be processed through your lawyer.
