Thames Centre Unveils New Community Grants Program
THAMES CENTRE - Thames Centre, Ontario, March 28, 2024 – The Thames Centre Council is excited to announce its new Community Grants Program, aimed at strengthening community development and enhanced local engagement. With an initial investment of $40,000 allocated for the year and continued support throughout the years, this program underscores the Municipality's firm commitment to empowering community groups.
The Community Grants Program initiative aligns with the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, with a particular emphasis on strengthening the pillars Community Communications and Engagement. Goal 3E of the plan serves as a cornerstone, to extend financial assistance to community groups and local arts and culture endeavors, thereby ensuring the continuous growth and vibrancy of Thames Centre.
Thames Centre extends the invitation to all eligible groups and interested parties to actively participate in the Community Grants Program! By engaging with this initiative, organizations have the unique opportunity to directly contribute to the enhancement of our community.
