Municipal Cemeteries By-law

The Corporation of the Municipality of Thames Centre has submitted a Draft By-law to the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial, and Cremation Services Act, 2002. The Draft By-law will provide rules and regulations for the governance and operation of cemeteries under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Thames Centre

This draft by-law may be reviewed at the municipal office located at 4305 Hamilton Road, Dorchester or on the municipal website: https://www.thamescentre.on.ca/draftbylaws.

This draft by-law is subject to the approval of the Registrar, Funeral, Burial, and Cremation Services Act 2002. For assistance, please contact the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (Bao)’s Licensing department at 647-483-2645 or 1-844-493-6356 or licensing@thebao.ca. Once the BAO has approved the by-law, it will be considered by the Council of the Municipality of Thames Centre.
