Thames Centre and Middlesex County have become aware of ongoing scams involving fraudulent emails that request additional payments or fees in connection with planning applications. Please be advised that Thames Centre & Middlesex County only require the payment of a filing fee when an application is submitted.

WE WILL NOT contact parties to request additional fees or funds as part of the application process.

If you have received a suspicious message, do not click any links or provide personal information.

Report the incident to the local police or contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre online or by calling 1-888-495-8501.

If you are unsure whether a communication is legitimate, please contact the County or the Municipality directly before taking any action.
