Playground Summer Camp

• 2 locations: Dorchester and Thorndale.
• The Thames Centre Playground is for children to come together and take part in a variety of games, crafts, sports, outdoor play, swimming (seasonal), along with many other fun activities.
• The program is open to children who have completed Junior Kindergarten up to grade seven.
• This is a locally sponsored program, therefore all families registering must live, work or go to school in Thames Centre.
• The program runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm, but we do offer free before/after care from 7:30am - 5:30pm.
• The cost is $225.00 per week or $45.00 per day

There will be NO last-minute registrations accepted; children must be registered for the upcoming week no later than the Tuesday before. For example, to register for Week: 1, this must be completed by Tuesday, June 25 by 11:59pm. 

The weeks are as follows: 

• Week 1: June 29, 30 - July 2, 3 2026 *short week
• Week 2: July 6-10, 2026
• Week 3: July 13-17, 2026
• Week 4: July 20-24, 2026
• Week 5: July 27-31, 2026
• Week 6: August 4-7, 2026 *short week
• Week 7: August 10-14, 2025
• Week 8: August 17-21, 2026

Leaders in Training (LIT)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 14-15 Years Old
• Resident of Thames Centre
• Mature, Reliable, Responsible, and a Positive Attitude
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check (Volunteer)
