Garbage Collection

Our garbage collection service is designed to keep Thames Centre clean and green! From April to October, we offer weekly collection to ensure your waste is taken care of promptly. During the cooler months from November to March, we switch to a bi-weekly schedule. Our trusted partner, Miller Waste Systems Inc., handles all collections.

Garbage Bag Tags

Keeping our community tidy is a team effort, and we’re here to make it easy. In Thames Centre, bag tags are a must for all garbage bags. At the beginning of each year, property owners receive 45 bag tags. 

• Bag tags are to be affixed to the side of each excess bag, placed so they can be easily seen by collectors.
• The weight limit of 20kg (45lbs) per bag
• Bags are to be placed at the curb by 7am on your collection day

Additional tags are available for purchase at just $2.50 each and are available to purchase at the Municipal office or the participating vendors listed below. We would like to emphasize that bag tags never expire.
