Hazardous Waste

Household Special Waste (HSW) is any material that is corrosive, flammable, ignitable, or reactive. These items need to be handled safely, kept out of the landfill, and properly managed for disposal.

Residents can use the City of London's Household Special Waste Drop-off.

Batteries can be disposed of at drop-off bins located at the Municipal Office at 4305 Dorchester Road, or the Thorndale Lions Community Centre at 265 Upper Queen Street.
