Water Flushing Program

Notice 2025 Fall Flushing Program

The Municipality of Thames Centre will be conducting the Fall Flushing Program during the week of Monday, October 20th to Friday, October 24th, 2025. The flushing will take place between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

Schedule for Monday, October 20:

Dorchester: we will be flushing north of the river in Dorchester (Catherine St, Marion St, Minnie St, etc.)

Thorndale: we will be starting on the east end of Thorndale (Meadowbrook Lane, Foxborough Pl, Upper Queen St, etc.)

Tuesday, October 21

There will be no flushing in Thorndale today.

In Dorchester, the Village Gate area will be flushed in the morning and flushing will continue west of Dorchester Road (Tiner subdivision, Boardwalk subdivision, Pondview Crt, Parkview Dr, etc.)

Wednesday October 22

Flushing on the north side of the river in Dorchester has been completed. Flushing west of Dorchester Rd (Tiner subdivision, Boardwalk subdivision, Parkview Dr, etc) has been completed.

Dorchester: flushing will start east of Dorchester Rd (Byron Ave, Canterbury Dr, Thames Cres, Oakwood Dr, etc)

Thorndale: flushing will start on King St and move west (Upper Queen St, Harrison St, Wye Creek subdivision, Rosewood subdivision, etc).

Thursday October 23

In Dorchester, all flushing has been completed except for Calvert Pl.

All flushing in Dorchester will be completed by early morning.

In Thorndale, flushing will continue today in the Wye Creek and Rosewood subdivisions. As the Thorndale water system is a small system flushing in one area may affect the rest of the system. It is recommended that residents continue to bypass their water softeners during the flushing times.

Thursday October 23 (4 PM)

Flushing has been completed in the Dorchester and Thorndale water systems.
