The next municipal election will be held on October 26, 2026

Every four years, in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, the Municipal Clerk, as Returning Officer, conducts elections for the offices of:

  • Mayor - elected at large
  • Deputy Mayor - elected at large
  • Ward 1 Councillor
  • Ward 2 Councillor
  • Ward 3 Councillor
  • Thames Valley District School Board – English Public
  • London District Catholic School Board – English Separate
  • Conseil Scolaire Viamonde – French Public
  • Conseil Scolaire de district Catholique – French Separate

Voter Registration

Are you on the Voters List?
If you are a resident, owner or tenant of property in Ontario, a Canadian citizen, and 18 years of age, you can vote in Ontario’s municipal and school board elections.
Visit www.RegisterToVoteON.ca that allows electors to:
  • Confirm you're on the List to Vote
  • Update your electoral information
  • Add yourself to the list if you've recently moved or turned 18.
