Role of Council Members
The Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) has published a document called The Municipal Councillors Guide. This guide provides an overview of the many duties and challenges elected officials at the municipal level may face.
It is anticipated that an updated guide will be provided by the MMAH in April of 2026. Should this happen the information and links will be updated.
