2026/27 – Catherine Street Watermain Replacement, Sidewalk Installation, and Storm Sewer Reconstruction

Construction Date: Anticipated April 2026 (Pending Council Approval)

Scope: The project scope includes watermain replacement and upsizing from Shaw Road to St. David Catholic School, installation of sidewalks on the north side of Catherine Street from Shaw Road to the existing sidewalk network at Northdale Public School, installation of storm sewers adjacent to the sidewalk on the north side of Catherine Street, upsizing of the existing storm sewer on the south side of Catherine Street from Ruth Street to the outlet near 3581 Catherine Street, and concrete culvert extension at the Dorchester Conservation Area to facilitate sidewalk installation over the existing watercourse.
