Notice of Office Closure - June 10/11

The Municipal Office at 4305 Hamilton Road will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11 due to overhead construction.

Services over the telephones and online will remain available.

Additional municipal staff will be available at the Administrative Offices of the FlightExec Centre for these two days; however, they will be unable to accept payments at this location.

Services remain unaffected at the Thorndale Lions Community Centre (265 Upper Queen Street) which will keep normal business hours.

2026/27 – Dorchester Road Municipal Drain and Sidewalk Construction

Dorchester Road Drain And Sidewalk Design Drawings

Construction Date: Anticipated June 2026 – September 2026, with concrete work completed in Spring of 2027

Scope: This project will construct a new municipal drain to provide an outlet for Hawthorne Subdivision, the future Vista Woods subdivision, Shoppers Plaza, Byron Ave and Dorchester Road. The project will also connect the Boardwalk Subdivision sidewalk network to Dorchester’s sidewalk network at Byron Ave.
