Notice of Intent To Close and Dispose of Certain Road Allowances Located Within Lot 3, Concessions 2 (Geographic Township of North Dorchester), Municipality of Thames Centre

 

TAKE NOTICE that Council for the Municipality of Thames Centre proposes to enact a by-law to permanently close and dispose to Ellen Louise Smulders, the following unopened road allowances: those parts of Pendarves Street, Bandon Street, Glyn Street and Bruce Street between Market Ground and unnamed street identified as 08172-0203 (LT) and those parts of Market Ground, Niles Street, Hamilton Street and the said unnamed street between Pendarves Street and the Canadian National Railway.

AND TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Municipality of Thames Centre By-law No. 65- 2022 being a By-law to adopt a policy to govern the sale or other disposition of surplus lands and the closing of highways and road allowances, closed highways are exempt from the requirement to be declared surplus to the needs of the Municipality prior to their sale if sold to an abutting landowner. Ms. Smulders is the owner of lands abutting the foregoing road allowances as shown on the attached map.
