
We have a lot of events coming up this May in Thames Centre! Here's a quick rundown of some events you may be interested in attending:
May 2: Today is the last day to order trees from the Tree Power program https://shop.thamesriver.on.ca/product/thames-centre-tree-power
May 3: From 8 AM to 10 PM trees ordered from the Tree Power program must be picked up at the Thames Centre Operations Centre at 4475 Trafalgar Street.
May 4: Join our volunteer firefighters for the Dorchester Firefighters Breakfast at Dorchester Station.
May 5: Oversized Waste Collection begins! Collection days are May 5, 7, 12, 14 and 15. Visit https://www.thamescentre.on.ca/services/residents/oversized-waste-pickup for more information!
May 7: The Road Safety Open House will take place at the FlightExec Centre starting at 7 PM, giving residents a chance to engage with municipal staff, Council members, and other organizations about road safety
May 12-16: The Spring Water System Flushing program is underway! Visit https://www.thamescentre.on.ca/water-system-flushing-program for daily updates.
May 20: The first Trails & Cycling Master Plan Open House event will take place at the FlightExec Centre in Dorchester
May 22: The second Trails & Cycling Master Plan Open House event will take place at the Thorndale Lions Community Centre
May 25: The Thorndale Firefighters Breakfast will be held at the Thorndale Fire Station from 8 AM to 12 PM. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for kids, and FREE for children under 5!
