Meet Anica Peter – Human Resources Advisor at Thames Centre!
Anica's journey into Human Resources started with a firsthand experience of the powerful impact HR can have in the workplace. Starting in retail HR and later making a transition to manufacturing, Anica broke through traditional norms, showcasing how women can thrive in industries traditionally dominated by men.
Anica's influence reaches well beyond her daily HR responsibilities. Actively engaging in mentoring aspiring HR professionals at Fanshawe College, she guides them through effective communication techniques and real-world simulations. She stresses the importance of every individual's role in organizational success. "We all contribute to our collective achievements," Anica states. "Empowering each person is essential for progress."
For Anica, HR transcends the rulebooks; it's about encouraging meaningful connections and ensuring inclusivity for all. Whether providing support in professional or personal matters for staff, she remains a loyal advocate for empowerment.
