Recycling

Recycling and Garbage collection is provided by Miller Waste Systems Inc.

Recycling is collected weekly on a year-round basis and is sorted by 2-Stream Recycling. This means separating different streams into different boxes.

Stream #1 is for food, beverage, and liquid containers. This includes milk cartons, juice boxes, paper coffee cups, ice cream tubs, and intact glass bottles and containers. It also includes food and beverage can lids, clean aluminum foil containers, and empty aerosol or paint cans. Plastic bottles and containers with a #1 to #7 symbol are also included in Stream #1.

Stream #2 includes paper and fibre products. 100% paper products like newspapers, flyers, magazines, and envelopes. This does NOT include paper towels or styrofoam products.
